Do you believe that is it ethical to conceive a child that meets specific genetic requirements? In what situation might you consider it?

Yeah under some circumstances,some.As
long it dosent gi9ve no harm to the child. Its alright
MATT MITCHELL
I believe that it's totally all right to clone a perfect human. To clone a person to have nothing wrong with them is right, because that way that person wont have nothing wrong with them. Humans have allergies and sickness so if you can fix it why not? I don't see anything wrong with it besides religious reasons.

I think it just depends on the situation because some kids have the rights to control on their own bodies. I mean come on, when they're babies and they don't know what's going on but when they get older and they may want to keep giving but some kids may don't want to keep giving. It just depends on how they feel about it and we should respect that.

I believe genetically engineering children is alright under certain circumstances. It has a lot of potential to get rid of diseases and birth defects. As long as the child is not being harmed or deprived of their rights I think it is acceptable.
SHANISE GORDON
yes ithink it is ok in this situation. it is wrong to do it just for your own sake because it not fair to the child to have to come out based on exactly what the parents want
STEVEN GAUT
I think... it is wrong for somebody to take body parts from a living person to make a another child the same as the person before, even if that person is not going to live. It is the way of life so i don't think it is right at all, people need to think about how this will affect the child you are taking body parts from.

I think it is wrong to genetically engineer a person because, they are born the way they are born. If they something wrong with them then is it the way it was ment to be. Their parents should let them be. So no, I don't think it is right.
ANTON WYLER
I dont think that it is right to genetically engineer a person because your making that person who they are not letting that person do it on there own. also i dont think it makes any sense to take parts from one daughter to give them to another, its kinda reverse thinking because your killing the person your taking parts from so whats the point.
CHARES LEACH
no i dont think its right because thats kinda like cloneing or some wack experiment for the perfect engineered child so truefully its wrong no matter how right it seems and so thats how i feel about it
MATT YOUNG!
i believe that it is necessary on some levels but also not on alot of levels because you gotta think about the child first. and the circumstances honestly i would never try to have a conceived test tube baby.
STEPHEN SCHAFFRAN
I believe that if you can conceive a child then you should not create a child for any reason at all.
But if u cant conceive a child then you should consider this only as a last resort.
And finally i don't believe that anybody should create a child just for the "parts"because as soon as their born into the world they are human beings and nothing can change that.
DAMIAN MCLEOD, I think they should not create a new child just for genetic body parts they should keep the one they have & let the doctor do it's job.
Jeremy Eslich
I do not think it is right to genetically clone someone that is used for giving things to another person beacause it puts the cloned person in pain and they have feelings and they could not want to do the things they were made for like in my sisters keeper the girl does not want to donate anymore and that to me is a good choice because they made her to help her sister and its a good thing to help her sister but she is maybe going through pain to do so.
LINDSAY OSTER!!!
It depends which way you look at the situation. If you're using the moral and/or religious point of view, of course it's wrong. However, with the medical/scientific view.. it's wonderful. Personally, I'm not interested in either side of the argument. Everyone has their own mindset on this. The idea of cloning/genetically engineering mammals has been a hot topic of debate for years now. Every since they first started doing with sheep and cats and stuff how ever many years ago. It's a lot different though to "make" a cat in a test tube, as opposed to a human being. I believe that once you start getting involved with "making" a real human with real feelings... that's pretty messed up.
Hi, Mr. King!
ALLYSON HEADLEY
I believe that it depends on the situation. But i still believe that the child does have an opinion. It could help more people stay alive. But then again it could possibly kill the donor.
TY Emerick
I don't think that is right to do that because it just seems wrong. Just think how that baby is going to feel thinking it's whole life that it's purpose was to supply body parts.
MARSHEILA BROWN No i dont believe in that because if they have somthing wrong with them its gods will. So why would they make another human being to save another one if its their time to die let them
